“I started using Biotropic labs about 3 weeks before my first 100 mile race, the Javelina Jundred in AZ. My friend Spring had been raving about it and I asked her a bit more about it and decided to give it a go. Boy am I glad that I did.
I’ve used supplements before but never really saw the results that they claimed to have. After using Biotropic Labs for about 1 week I started to notice that my energy levels seemed to be up, and more sustained through the day. As I had already started to taper for the big race, I was unable to predict how this would play out during my long runs (20-30 miles). On my shorter distances (5-10 miles) I could tell a difference for sure. It was easier for me to run a faster pace and I seemed to be recovering a lot quicker. My last medium distance run of 15 miles, 1 week prior to JJ100, was a piece of cake, and I felt great when I finished.
On to race weekend. The forecast for this race was HOT!! It is already a notoriously hot race and everyone was claiming that this was the hottest year yet, with temps from 95-100+ degrees during the day. Our plan was to take it easy, and we did just that. I took 2 tablets before I started and 1 every 20 miles. I felt awesome the whole time. My energy levels were even and sustained, I was in a great mood even at the hottest part of the day. I hit no walls nor did I have any low points. As a matter of fact, I felt so good the last 10 miles that I averaged an 8:30 pace all the way to the finish (26 hrs 39 min). That told me a lot about what I had been taking. I believe that Biotropic Labs tablets played a huge part in my completion of 100 miles. I am still using it and would recommend it to anyone interested in improving their endurance in a natural manner.
I am back running and training and my next race is the San Diego 50 miler in January. My time last year was 9:33. I’m looking forward to seeing how Biotropic will help me to improve on that time and how my recovery will have improved.”
